Incredible India

India is made up of extremes. Generosity to corruption, beauty to filth, rich to poor. From smelling the sweetest jasmine garland that hangs from the hair of a Tamil woman to riding through mud puddles of waste after a down pour, it is each of these extremes that are India.

Cafe Budan has seamlessly entered into my daily routine. It satisfies all that travelers crave when they seek a little normalcy - espresso, strong wifi and a place to exchange travelers tales. But even this little sanctuary is not immune to the extremes. As the steamed milk settles on my cappuccino and I prepare the shot for my daily frontback, in the 10 seconds between taking the first photo and the second, the power goes out. "Incredible India" proclaims the barista. Yes, incredible India.
